I did not realize how much I would miss trees. I have always lived in a house that was surrounded by big trees. When I bought my current house, it had just been moved into town. Not a single plant had been planted. My first plan of action was to get trees. I was given three cottonwoods. I have watered and watered my trees. I wanted to plant them so that I could see them when I look out of my windows. I put fencing around each tree because Concho would use them for peeing posts. Well, this tree he used the most! Guess what? It is about twice the size of my other trees! Who would have thought? I just love the view from my kitchen window. I am so proud of my growing trees.
